I got all the still growing things in the greenhouse tidied up this morn, but didn't do A SINGLE THING on my little house. I need a maid, or a wife so I can do the garden-weeding-chicken-watching-bunny-poop-scooping things that need done outside. Maybe thats why they had more than one woman in the house in Bible times?
I have decided that, as much as I love my Maid Marian, I DO NOT want another Corgi, unless the maid/wife is up for vacuuming every day. I will gladly clean the barn and do all the cooking, but I am tired of the even film of cream colored hair that covers everything in my domain.
I am planning a Farmchic Day of Prayer for Puxatani Phil. The little booger better not see his shadow....I am ready for spring. I'd better do some research first, because maybe there is something sacrilegious about praying for a rodent? Even a weather-forecasting one.
Alrighty, you farmgirls went to town without me! I'm with you on the boots but still enjoying Winter. Trying not to wish it away.
ReplyDeleteWe did...I had ZERO people in my house (save gma, but that's another story) and K was down to 2 so we trotted up for a couple hours.
ReplyDeleteWinter is ok....but I want snow or spring. How's that for demanding??
Wow...you pertify yer boots? hehe! Round here we just pull em on and git er dun :P Leaves nothing to the imagination when visiting any local diner around here though...if you walk in and don't smell the farmers then you are in the wrong place :D
ReplyDeleteDon't wish winter away...you haven't come to skate on the lake with me yet!
My longhouse or green thing or whatever you call it, is under 2 1/2 feet of snow...flat as a flapjack! ugh! The snow dun did er in :( Oh well, now maybe I can git me a reeeeeeal one :P One of them fancy jobs with the arched roofline :) They sell them used out here for a song! And boy can I sing when I need to :D haha!
Miss you tons! Hugs and love...ME!
spring fever has hit the Young House as well. I can't wait to get started on some planting and cultivating of my own. I will have to hit you up for some advice. Maybe we could trade a little yard labor for some home cleaning;) Just a thought. hee hee
ReplyDeleteKara, are you going to do garden-y stuff at your folks new home? :)
ReplyDeleteI SO am looking forward to some sunshine... but you probably already knew that.
